Operations Manager

Operations Manager will be responsible for driving the operational success of Grale and works closely with the founders to ensure a cost efficient and scalable way of working.

Operations Manager translates the company's strategic vision by making it into actionable plans, initiatives and metrics. Main responsibility is to improve operational performance by overseeing business operations and implementing strategies to make operations as efficient as possible to maximize long-term profitability. Lead initiatives to scale operations, identify new market opportunities, and support company growth.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring a cost-efficient and scalable way of working by building processes, systems and tools required to scale the company
• Build and optimize internal processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and productivity, cost savings and scalability
• Supply chain management & development
• Managing the day-to-day activities including operations, stakeholder engagements, logistics, strategic planning, setting and measuring reporting metrics
• Oversee and develop customer journey from order placement to delivery
• Define and monitor metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
• Identify, plan and implement tools, resources and policies needed for the company to scale and lead implementation, communication and training to employees
• Support investor reporting, compile reports and metrics
• Creating good long-term relationships with stakeholders
• Establish processes, procedures and guidelines for Grale to follow Governance best practices and ways of working and ensure they are carried out in accordance with Grale’s regulations, guidelines and applicable laws
• Other ad-hoc operational tasks

Ideal Candidate

To succeed in the role, we believe that you have the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of work experience from operational management roles in business operations, strategy & planning
• Additional work experience from VC backed startup or scaleup, PE/VC or consulting firms with focus on operational roles are preferred
• Have experience and was active in raising capital from external investors
• Great relationship skills, with demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at senior levels
• Grit and adaptability – comfortable in a fast-moving startup, problem-solving on the go, and wearing multiple hats when needed
• Experience from negotiations with providers, vendors and suppliers
• Strategic mindset and commercial interest
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Tech savvy and skilled in working with new tools and AI
• Work proactively and find creative solutions to challenges
• E-commerce operations experience is a plus
• Swedish and English; fluent in speech and writing
